Welcome to Midwest Players League!
DIVISIONS: Currently offering: SOUTH MEN’S, SOUTH WOMEN’S, MIXED NORTH, COED NORTH, COED SOUTH, 4-MAN ROUND ROBIN NORTH (both evening and day leagues), 4-MAN ROUND ROBIN SOUTH (both evening and days leagues).
North team divisions: Godfrey, Alton, East Alton, Wood River and Bethalto
South team divisions: Granite City, Collinsville, Caseyville, with I70 being the north limit and I64 being the south limit.
Coed north and south teams must have exactly a 2-3 or 3-2 ratio of men and women shooting on their team each night. Mixed North league can be any 5 players, man or woman shooting each night. A maximum of 14 teams can be placed in a division. Each team shoots all other teams twice, once at home, and once away at their bar.
All division will consist of a roster with a maximum of 10 players. Men’s, Women’s, Coed and Mixed North will have 5 players shooting each night. Robin Robin division will be a 4-person format.
COST TO PLAY: Cost per week/division is $7.00 per person, with no membership fees.
SPONSORSHIP: Sponsor fees are $35.00 per winter or summer session, from whichever bar/tavern a team chooses to shoot out of that is geographically reasonable for traveling by other teams.
WINTER LEAGUE: Will run for 24 weeks. Sign up will start in mid to late July, with a mid-September start time.
SUMMER LEAGUE: Will run for 17 weeks with sign-ups starting in February and league kicking off in early April.
TOURNAMENTS: Unless otherwise posted, all tournaments are a $10 entry with a 35% match for OPEN tournaments that everyone is eligible to play in, for a 135% payout.
